i LOVE this song. what can i say? MAPS by the yeah, yeah, yeah’s. it's just really good. i've talked about this song before, but i must stress that it's songwriting genius. very simple, instrumentally, and the words are almost spacey but have a great meaning if you look for it. i love it. if any of you haven't heard it, honestly, find a way to. i think you'll like it.

so, instead of running for my three miles today, i decided to rollerblade for about 5 miles. i've been getting really bored with the running. it's fine, but it really gets old. so, i strapped on the old k2's and skated my ass down the road. it was good. now i'm all sore in all sorts of weird places. that's probably a good thing though. other than the fact that my lower back isn't too happy with me right now, oh well. so yeah...

i'm tired. and it's only 8:47. what is happening to me? sore in weird places, tired early all the time. well, i did get quite the sunburn from this weekend. that can explain the tiredness, so maybe i'm just worrying too much. who knows? i AM working the quarter century mark though...(shiver)

ok, holy crap. i bought my books for this quarter today...DAMN! i can easily say that i've got all you other summer schoolers beat by a long shot on book costs. i'm gonna be in SO much debt at the end of all of this. shit. yikes. vegas, baby, vegas.

i saw spiderman II last night. HOLY SHIT, it was awesome! ok, i know it's sappy and cheesy and all that good stuff, but wow. they did a really good job on this one. the story KICKS ASS and the love story doesn't weigh it down at all, in fact it only makes it better. it's one of the best summer movies i've ever seen and i think it's by far the best superhero movie i've ever seen...and i've seen them all. sam raimis kicks ass, and bruce campbell too, of course.

that's another good point. if ANY of you haven't seen all of the evil dead movies, we should all get together and watch them! it's SO worth it! they're great! indie movie classics, all of them. i pretty sure jen hasn't seen any of them and i really think that she would like them. maybe i'll get her to someday! if she'll ever trust my taste in movies! not too likely though... :)
